Used to define the organizational structure or hierarchical structure of your organization, it is important to note that this screen does not define the place names but only their captions. For example, if our organization has a Head office-Subsidiary structure, we define the names of the Head office and Subsidiary items. It is from the organizational structure that we will group the results in the DRE (more information).
Managing Organizational Structure. The organizational structure management menu can be accessed by system administrators through the “Menu> Administrative> Organizational Structure”. When accessing the environment a listing of organizational structures will be shown to you as shown below.
Remove: Button available to exclude an organizational structure from the system.
Inserting new organizational structure By clicking the “Insert Organizational Structure” button, you will be redirected to the new organizational structure registration screen. Checking the images below, we have three options when creating a new organizational structure. The first two options are predefined and the last one allows the user to create a custom structure.
